Chef's Club of Northern Greece, awards Provil for the amazing cooperation & support
With great pleasure, Provil was awarded for a consecutive year, by the Chef's Club of Northern Greece, at their annual symposium held at the Met Hotel inThessaloniki. The company maintains ties with the Club for years now, and this award sealed the excellent relationship between Provil, the Club and gastronomy at large.
The honored cuisine was the Macedonian and products, such as Macedonian yellow cheese, sun-dried tomato, Wine from Mount Athos, tsipouro, olives, etc, were some of the local products that dominated.
Sourvas (soup resembling trachanas) with paskitan (sour yogurt), mint, carob and almond crumble, yellow pumpkin with sweetbreads, parsley oil, poached kingfish with black eyed peas, sausage, thyme and truffle oil, were some of the dishes that guests tried. 
During the event, the Chefs Club announced with great enthusiasm their participation at the International Culinary Olympics, which will take place in Germany on February 14th-19th 2020.
As stated by the Vice President of the Chefs Club of Northern Greece, Mr Christos Gotsis, in the context of presenting Greece's participation in the games, "We will strive for the best, but participation is what's important," he said. "Macedonian cuisine will be there, Greece will be there."
